Put Innovation Scholar to City Council
Background and Vision
Henry Etzkowitz is a dedicated community leader with a strong vision for the future of Palo Alto. His commitment to public service and passion for providing innovative solutions to unaddressed problems like escalating rents and Suicide Alley, the Caltrain cut that divides the city and new problems created by a clueless "Consultocracy", like proposition D, that will create more traffic than before, defeating the purpose of the park loss of .33 acres that Henry called an "abomination" at a recent Candidate Forum. He called for voters to reject Proposition D, asking Council members to reverse their ill-advised decision and join with him in calling upon voters to protect the integrity of El Camino park. Proven innovative solutions implemented elsewhere, are the watchword of his candidacy for the City Council. Through collaborative efforts and innovative solutions, Henry aims to bring Silicon Valley's culture of innovation and entrepreneurship to bear on Palo Alto's problems and scale solutions.
